What is Alliy Brown Ale?

Alliy Brown Ale was a brown ale my friend Matt generously brewed for my wedding day, named after my wife Alliy Brown. Matt, his partner Martine, me and Alliy all took part in the brewing process. We spent the day learning how to make beer and hanging out in their backyard.

I designed 5 different labels for the beer, each using a different photo to capture various stages of Alliy’s life. The last picture was taken the day we received our marriage license.

I still have these bottles on display in my studio and enjoy looking at them.
